Sukhothai joined the Design Monat Graz 2024 in Austria

Sukhothai: a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN for Crafts and Folk Art) led by the Governor of Sukhothai Mr.Suchart Teekasuk (former governor) and Mr. Anan Chuchote together with Gp.Capt. Athikun Kongmee (Director Genearal of Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration: Public Organization) including delegates and artisans from Sukhothai participated in the symposium at the Design Monat Graz 2024 in Austria. Thanks to the delegates of Graz UCCN for Design for providing a great opportunity for Sukhothai to present unique crafts at the exhibition under the theme “Sukhothai the Dawn of Happiness,”. The event held on May 4–5, 2024, marked an important showcase for Sukhothai Province and Thailand to present its cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship. This vital platform promotes Sukhothai’s distinctive crafts, such as silverware, gold items, woven fabrics, and Sangkhalok ceramics with more widely recognized at the international stage.
