  • Date: all year
  • Type of event: Workshop
  • Location: Germiyan Street, UNESCO Mansion, UNESCO Halil İbrahim Yılmaz Craft and Folk Arts Center, Kütahya Province

Under the guidance of the Directorate of Etude Projects, complimentary training sessions were conducted at both the UNESCO Mansion and the UNESCO Halil İbrahim Yılmaz Crafts and Folk Art Center with the aim of preserving and passing down our traditional arts and crafts to the upcoming generations.

Numerous individuals, both women and men, participated in these free sessions, which covered a wide array of traditional crafts including rag doll making, çini making, silver embroidering, traditional hand embroidery, and felt accessory crafting. Through these trainings, participants not only acquired knowledge about our rich cultural heritage but also honed their skills, resulting in the creation of exquisite artworks. To showcase their achievements, a group exhibition was organized at the municipality building upon the completion of the training program.
