Fabriano WaterColour 2024

The 8th Biennial International Prize “Fabriano Watercolour 2024,” set to begin on July 13, 2024, will showcase global artistic talent in Fabriano, a UNESCO Creative City renowned for its rich papermaking tradition. This prestigious event, continuing until September 30, 2024, will feature a select group of 56 artists invited by the diverse and international jury panel. These artists were chosen for their exceptional skills and will participate in a competition that highlights the vibrancy and depth of watercolour art.

The jury, composed of esteemed artists like Stanislaw Zoladz, Dean Mitchell, and Patricia Guzman, among others, will oversee the submissions. In addition to the competition, there will be a Masters of Jury exhibition at the Paper and Watermark Museum, displaying works by the jury members themselves, offering a rare glimpse into the creative process of these renowned figures in the art world.

This biennale event not only celebrates artistic excellence but also reinforces Fabriano’s commitment to promoting cultural dialogue and sustainability in the arts, aligning with its UNESCO Creative City designation.
