Carrara Studi Aperti, an annual event, is a journey into the creative intimacy of a unique city.
With 50 studios, workshops, and exhibition spaces, more than 100 artists and 20 side events, the event offers the public an exceptional opportunity to explore Carrara’s often hidden corners dedicated to art. This journey through the city offers an immersion in Carrara’s rich artistic history.
Participants can explore traditions and new languages, spanning design, forms, ancient practices, and modern technologies. Carrara Studi Aperti is a journey of 2,000 years of art, craft, and history, with ateliers opening to the public, revealing their creative process.
The event, born in 2013 and grown through the “Beyond” Association, has become a must-attend event for art lovers. Visitors can live the unique experience of entering artists’ ateliers, places usually concealed, becoming witnesses of “secret” moments of artistic creation. Carrara Studi Aperti is not just a widespread art exhibition, but an authentic look at a genuine artistic reality.
