As part of the activities commemorating the day, two schools were invited to the Gbongbofu brass production workshop to observe the process of creating artistic pieces using brass and aluminum materials.<\/p>\n<p>The creators shared their methods of visualizing ideas and producing artwork, rooted in the local wisdom and knowledge passed down through generations.<\/p>\n<p>The students were given a guided tour of the workshop, where they observed the traditional methods of creating artwork.<\/p>\n<p>The masterclass workshop was organized by Bida UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art in collaboration with the Bida Local Government Council.<\/p>\n<p>The students took turns trying their hands at creating artwork, experiencing firsthand how artisans handle local tools. The school visits to the master creators&#8217; studios were aimed at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing an appreciation for crafts and creating awareness of the creative economy.<\/li>\n<li>Sharing experiences and skills with students.<\/li>\n<li>Preserving cultural practices.<\/li>\n<li>Stimulating creativity in the minds of students.<\/li>\n<li>Encouraging learning from the wisdom and knowledge of older generations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>About the event<\/p>\n<p>Two Schools are invited to brass production workshop to see the process of creating artistic piece.
